Q:  What are your service areas?

AmeriCare Gold Coast is a family-owned and operated home care agency, licensed by the State of Florida.  We serve the cities and towns in the following Florida counties: Broward, Collier, Lee, Miami-Dade, Orange, Palm Beach, Sarasota, and St. Lucie.

Q:  How much does the service cost?

Services are generally billed by the hour. The hourly rate is determined by the level of service required, time and day service provided. Please call the AmeriCare office for our current rates.

Q:  What are my payment options for home care services?

Services are generally paid for by check, debit or credit card.

Q:  Are your home care services covered by Medicare or Medicaid.

AmeriCare Gold Coast is not a Medicare-certified agency, and because most services we provide are considered non-medical, they are not covered by Medicare.

AmeriCare Gold Coast does not participate in Medicaid program offered by the State of Florida

Q:  Will I be able to reach AmeriCare Gold Coast’s staff after hours?

AmeriCare Gold Coast has dedicated back office staff 24 hours per day 7 days a week. You never have to worry about reaching us after hours.

Q:  How quickly can service be arranged?

Generally, care can be arranged for in as little 12 to 24 hours.

Q:  Can your services be provided in an assisted living community or skilled nursing facility?

Yes. Our services are often requested by family members to provide one-on-one care.
