David Kafora
Owner
David has lived in the Phoenix area since 1996 and loves staying active. If he isn’t working out at the gym daily, he is spending time with his dogs, two 3-year-old German Shepard mixes. David feels so lucky to have his dream career. Children usually aspire to be astronauts, firefighters, teachers, doctors, no one grows up saying they want to take care of ‘old people’. But once in awhile a special person learns about caring for seniors and wouldn’t dream of doing anything else. Those that care for seniors each have a crucible moment or a special story that tugs at their deepest emotions. Ask me!
With over 35 years of healthcare experience, David is passionate about caring for others, especially seniors. For over 20 years, he has been directly involved in caring for seniors with a concentration in skilled nursing, rehab, long-term care, assisted living and independent living. As a retired United States Air Force Medical Service Corps Officer, David holds high standards for himself and others. David is also a successful businessman as an area developer and owner of seven OrangeTheory Fitness studios in the Phoenix area. David joined the Air Force to serve his country but also a means to obtain his education. He holds an MBA with a concentration in Human Resources, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and an Associate in Applied Science in Health Care Administration.
Kimberly Sharrah
Regional Operations Manager
Kimberly is a Regional Operations Manager who works with AmeriCare to on-board caregivers and make sure the office is run accordingly. Kimberly believes in hiring the top-notch individuals to provide care for the people of Southern Arizona. She has a passion for building relationships and giving back to the community in which she lives and works.
Kimberly is a Tucson native who graduated from Amphitheater High School. Highly skilled in customer service, Kimberly’s prior experience in banking has allowed her to successfully interact with diverse individuals. When Kimberly is not in the office she enjoys spending time with her family & friends.
Jeffrey Mark Wolk
Physician and Community Relationship Director
Dr. Jeffrey Mark Wolk is a born New Yorker. He graduated from Amherst College in 1977, with a BA in biochemistry, cum laude. Then on to Medical School, and Residency. He completed the residency program at The University of Connecticut and then a fellowship at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. After that, Dr. Wolk entered academic medicine as Assistant Professor of Urology at the State University of New York. He followed this by entering private practice in Connecticut. Then at age 50, he realized that he had more winters than he could have imagined, and so finished his last 14 years in practice in the greater Tucson region.
After 41 years in the practice of medicine, Dr. Wolk and his wife, Annemarie, retired to the Marana area of Tucson in February of 2020.
However, Dr. Wolk needed to continue providing care for people and has joined the Americare Tucson Family by bringing his clinical acumen to the service of people of all ages who just need CARE.
When asked, he will tell you that he is a hopeful novelist, photographer, magician, home chef and jazz musician. In reality, he just simply loves his wife, Ann, his 2 grown sons, his 2 granddaughters, and his Burmese cat, Mojo.
Sophia Siddle
Operations Assistant
Sophia is a Tucson native and a graduate of Primavera Online High School. She has an extensive background in customer service.
Sophia enjoys helping others, as well as giving back to the community that raised her. In her spare time, Sophia likes to spend time with her four dogs. She also completed culinary classes with JTED that cultivated her love for baking. Sophia has also competed with a local Gymnastics team for several years across Southern Arizona.
Roberta Kafora
Nurse Consultant
Roberta has been a Registered Nurse for 18 years specializing in the care of oncology patients as they navigate through their cancer journey. Roberta believes in providing the highest level of care to her patients combining evidence-based practice with a personalized approach. She is very passionate about caring for others and feels it is an honor to do something so meaningful and fulfilling as nursing.
Roberta obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University and her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, she holds her Oncology Nurse Certification (OCN) through the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation.
When not working, Roberta enjoys spending time with her family and 3 dogs.
Alyssa Kafora
Financial Analyst and Program Director
Alyssa Kafora has been in the health and wellness industry for 15 years. She began her career in the weight loss realm as a Center Director for one of the largest weight loss companies in the United States. As her passion for helping others continued to grow, she then transitioned to the medical field as an Office Manager for a high volume medical clinic.
Alyssa believes caring for others is exactly where she is meant to be.
Alyssa enjoys spending her time with her husband, Daniel, and 2 young boys, Jake and Evan.
