Brannon Howle

Owner

My name is Brannon Howle.  I have just recently completed a 21-year career in the corporate world where I provided executive-level leadership and coaching to various teams within Information Technology and Financial Management disciplines. I have a passion for strategy and enjoy coaching and mentoring. I find it rewarding to work with ambitious team members that comprise a will to succeed and want to grow as individuals.  I hold a degree from Virginia Military Institute and am also a certified public accountant in the state of Virginia.

When I was young, one of my grandmothers moved in with my family when she could no longer live on her own. My parents acted as caregivers and took care of her before it became too much and eventually, we had to move my grandmother to a nursing home. This experience fostered the need for family and showed me the importance of having passionate people care about you when you need it.

Throughout my life, I recall visiting my grandparents on a regular basis in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. I watched them age and transition from lucid to unable to care for themselves. This had a profound impact on me.

I come from a family of nurses. When I was young, my mother stayed at home with me during the day and went to night school for nursing. She worked in labor and delivery and post-partum for many years as a registered nurse. My sister became a nurse and I also married a nurse.  I have been surrounded by caretakers and admire what they have done from afar and now I am ready to be on the forefront. I am excited about the positive impact that providing compassionate care to those in need will help the community. I am also excited to offer a service that is doing the right thing and providing help to people who really need it.

I am an active member in my community through my church, coaching youth sports and as a prior member of a non-profit board of directors.  I also have a passion for music and love to perform for people whenever possible.

I am also a dedicated and active father to two wonderful children, and I love to see them grow and help them through life each and every day.

Patty Howle

Administrator and Care Director

My name is Patty Howle. I think laughter is the best medicine and I will work hard to make you smile.  I was born in Richmond, Virginia, the youngest of 4 children.  I have spent the majority of my life here, where I have been married to my husband for 50 years and together, we have 3 children and 6 grandchildren.  During my children’s early years, I stayed home with them as a stay-at-home mom and you could say that ‘we went to school together.’  When they were all out of elementary school, I decided to pursue a degree in Nursing.  I spent 26 years as a nurse and most of that time was spent caring for mothers after they had given birth, and I also spent a year or two in labor and delivery.  I feel privileged to have been able to provide care to new babies and growing families as they ventured into parenthood.  Later, as my tenure at the hospital came to an end, I decided to work as a volunteer at Crossover Ministries.  This charity is in place to support the healthcare needs of those who can’t afford it.  All doctors and nurses volunteer their time to care for those in need.  This experience provided valuable lessons to me in service and compassion as I worked alongside many talented physicians and others to better the community of Richmond and provide for the less fortunate.

More recently, I have been working for the Virginia General Assembly to provide administrative support to delegates.  Throughout my career, I have found that I have a strong compassion for people in need and love to help and care for others.  I have been blessed with the gift of gab and love to talk to people in any way.  It is so rewarding to feel accomplished when you actually make a difference in people’s lives.  I also take pride in my organizational skills and ability to assess the needs of others.

At ameriCARE Richmond, I work hard to ensure the best quality of care to our clients and to promote a personalized and positive experience.
