your CARE team

Steve Levy

founder

Throughout his career, Steve has provided companies with executive-level leadership that is focused on growth or new market entry. He holds a degree in Management from California State University, Fullerton, and has more than 30 years of experience in executive leadership positions that span the high-tech industry to the alternative energy markets. With a history of successful experience and business acumen, combined with a long-term passion for coaching and developing high-performance teams, Steve brings both leadership perspective as well as operational excellence to companies seeking to take that next step in growth. He served in leadership roles with high tech SaaS-based companies, including five early phase companies, prior to a 10+ year career in the renewable energy markets with clean energy companies. Most recently, he worked with Enel X and their EaaS software platform.⠀

In late 2019, Steve chose a path to provide home care services for those in need. Having taken in his mother-in-law in 2018, he quickly began to see the need for a deeper empathy towards our seniors in need. While researching several investments, including launching one of his own, he chose to partner with the leader in home healthcare, AmeriCare, and purchased the rights to the Silicon Valley area.⠀

Steve has lived in Morgan Hill for over 20 years and has watched the sleepy town grow over time. With this growth came challenges for the community. The healthcare services provided by the city were being stretched to new levels and the focus on healthcare was having a difficult time keeping up with the growth. From his desire to help others, he opened AmeriCare Silicon Valley in Morgan Hill to service all of Santa Clara County. This is his way of making a difference- by providing needed care to the community.⠀

Steve’s passions are spending as much time as he can with his granddaughter, working with like-minded visionaries who can see what the future will need, helping drive solutions, and providing more home care based services to meet the challenges of tomorrow that families are facing today.

Kristine Bray

manager, client relations

Kristine has a heart for healthcare which dates as far back as she can remember. She comes from a family of doctors and nurses, including a mom who was a nurse and had the ability to fix every “boo boo.” This passion ultimately compelled Kristine to receive a Bachelor of Science in nursing herself which she uses to contribute to healthcare by consulting with nurses and other professionals in business development. During college, Kristine gained hands-on experience working on the acute care floors in the hospitals, not only managing care given to patients but gaining a keen insight and understanding of the patients’ needs and continuing education while at home following discharge.

Kristine uses this insight to maintain a successful career in healthcare consulting and business development. Some of her career highlights to date include streamlining processes and creating more effective and efficient workflows, establishing trust, and building relationships while collaborating with clinicians of various roles within the healthcare system. She develops successful strategies in healthcare business development by assessing individuals’ needs and implementing tactics appropriately. She also has a compassionate heart that longs to serve the community in the way of being there for those at their most vulnerable, which many people can pick up on within the first conversations.

Kristine has also spent a couple of years working as a caregiver herself for private families before moving into business development. This experience included providing care for her grandfather and helping him with daily activities as his dementia and Alzheimer’s progressed. She was able to see firsthand the difference that patient-centered, compassionate care makes in an individual and family’s life.

Kristine is a Bay Area native who grew up in the Willow Glen community in the heart of Silicon Valley and recently moved back to the South Bay after spending several years in San Francisco. Kristine is fascinated with local history and volunteers as a docent with History San Jose. She also served as a foster parent to furry friends with Muttville leading to the adoption of her own chihuahua. Her greatest joy, however, comes from spending time with her daughter where she gets to show her all the hidden gems of our local community and much, much more.

Torri Steward

Torri Stewart

recruiting & scheduling

My name is Torri and I am now your new Manager of Recruitment & Scheduling here at AmeriCare Silicon Valley! I started my caregiving journey years ago, starting with kids! I then moved to caring for the elderly and have fallen in love with simply helping others.

I decided to join AmeriCare because they truly do CARE about enhancing the quality of life in others as well as their employees. AmeriCare is truly “Here To Care”. They are all about family and that is what stood out to me the most. As a mother of three, my children and my family are my #1 priority and it is so refreshing to know that it is also the priority of the company I work for! As for me, I just want to change the world in a positive way.

I want to add life and happiness to those I get to encounter. I want to help those within my community and ensure health, happiness, kindness, love, and patience. I want to make it so that all families have a peace of mind knowing their loved one can have the best care right in the comfort of their home! Because let’s face it, we all are a little “Happier At Home”. It’s easy to come to work and help change lives when you put your heart into all that you do, without expecting anything in return.

recruiting HR manager

Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie, and I am your HR and caregiver manager. I joined AmeriCare in December of 2021 and prior to that I was a student at San Jose State University where I obtained my Bachelor’s in Communication Studies. I currently live in Santa Cruz with my fiancé and our three dogs. I come from a family full of hard-working individuals and I am very passionate about getting others the help they need. Growing up, my dad had MS and I took on the role of being his caregiver. After taking care of my dad, I realized that I wanted to work in the healthcare industry and helps others get the proper assistance they need.

I decided to join AmeriCare because I saw my chance at being able to make a difference in people’s lives. Here at AmeriCare we prioritize our clients and their families. We find ways to comfort families while also giving them the stability they need during difficult times.

In my free time I like to go to the beach, garden, or do anything that gets me outside! I love exploring new areas and spending time with my family.
