Steve Levy

founder

Throughout his career, Steve has provided companies with executive-level leadership that is focused on growth or new market entry. He holds a degree in Management from California State University, Fullerton, and has more than 30 years of experience in executive leadership positions that span the high-tech industry to the alternative energy markets. With a history of successful experience and business acumen, combined with a long-term passion for coaching and developing high-performance teams, Steve brings both leadership perspective as well as operational excellence to companies seeking to take that next step in growth. He served in leadership roles with high tech SaaS-based companies, including five early phase companies, prior to a 10+ year career in the renewable energy markets with clean energy companies. Most recently, he worked with Enel X and their EaaS software platform.⠀

In late 2019, Steve chose a path to provide home care services for those in need. Having taken in his mother-in-law in 2018, he quickly began to see the need for a deeper empathy towards our seniors in need. While researching several investments, including launching one of his own, he chose to partner with the leader in home healthcare, AmeriCare, and purchased the rights to the Silicon Valley area.⠀

Steve has lived in Morgan Hill for over 20 years and has watched the sleepy town grow over time. With this growth came challenges for the community. The healthcare services provided by the city were being stretched to new levels and the focus on healthcare was having a difficult time keeping up with the growth. From his desire to help others, he opened AmeriCare Silicon Valley in Morgan Hill to service all of Santa Clara County. This is his way of making a difference- by providing needed care to the community.⠀

Steve’s passions are spending as much time as he can with his granddaughter, working with like-minded visionaries who can see what the future will need, helping drive solutions, and providing more home care based services to meet the challenges of tomorrow that families are facing today.

Kasey Van Gelder

Kasey is an experienced international business and sales professional with a demonstrated history of success in team management, and the analysis, conceptualization, and successful delivery of process improvements within multiple industries. She has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) focused on Political Science and International Relations from the University of California, Davis. Her skills are in strategic relationship management, financial services, sales, and communication. Her experience, skills, and strong business acumen combine to effectively deliver innovative solutions to business challenges.⠀

Kasey’s greatest passion in life is the desire to serve others. She devotes the entirety of her focus, energy, and time to fully understanding the needs of her clients so that she may best serve them. This inner drive has led to her underlining success in building an expansive network of business clients and partners. Kasey is a leader that epitomizes passion, integrity, positive energy, and creative service in every detail of her life. Her energy, level of care, and attention to detail are her differentiator.⠀

Service, compassion, and altruism are her core values and are at the center of her world view and approach to business and networking. She finds professional fulfillment in providing a supportive environment so that others may thrive. Outside of her professional endeavors, Kasey is a certified yoga instructor and meditation practitioner. Through these practices, she has developed a heightened alertness and sensibility that translates into her interactions and creative services. She has over a decade of humanitarian efforts and is passionate about volunteering with organizations that make an impact. Settling in Silicon Valley was a natural fit for the lifestyle that Kasey promotes. She is well-connected, received, and trusted among the community and her charitable efforts exemplify her commitment to people.

Camilla Troquato

Camilla utilizes her organizational and communicative skills to oversee office operations and caregiver relations on behalf of AmeriCare Silicon Valley. She ensures the company operates smoothly and efficiently in her handling of caregiver inquiries, consultations, and timely access to services. By analyzing the individual needs of clients and matching those to the appropriate caregivers, Camilla secures the provision of expert-level service. She recognizes that beyond caring for their physical needs, caregivers are helping our clients achieve fulfillment and overall well-being in their lives.⠀

Camilla is an active member of the community. She volunteers her time at Stanford Healthcare as a Patient Navigator, and also at The Humane Society of San Jose where she enhances the lives of two-legged and four-legged friends alike.⠀

Travel also plays a major role in Camilla’s life, which began at just 6 weeks old when she was first introduced to her family in England- a trip she continues to make annually. More recently, her travels have taken her to Canada, Central America, and Hawaii.⠀

When she is not volunteering or traveling, Camilla enjoys being outdoors exploring new hiking trails, spending time by the ocean, and partaking in family activities.⠀

Currently, her desire lies in gathering the knowledge and skills that are specific to this arm of the healthcare industry to become a subject matter expert within the company. As an example of developing this skill, she is currently researching various processes in relation to best practices as a way to increase her performance and contributions. Camilla received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication and Public Affairs, and a minor in Business Management Studies from California State University, Chico. She continues to challenges herself to exceed through advanced education and aspires to obtain an M.S. in healthcare.
