Magnolia

Magnolia’s an incredible team member, but most importantly, the care that she provides to her clients and their families is second to none. She is incredibly dedicated and known by our clients and our team as a ray of sunshine that lights up any room. We are so grateful for Maggie’s wonderful attitude and drive – thank you for all you do, Maggie!

Margarita

At ameriCARE Silicon Valley, we also seek to improve the lives of our caregivers through sustainable compensation and benefits, flexible scheduling, certification assistance, and rewards programs to highlight the work of our care team. From our nationwide Caregiver of the Quarter award to our local Caregivers of the Month awards, we work to find unique ways to show our caregivers that their dedication and hard work matter.

Gussie McGee

Gussie McGee has achieved a SPOT Award for her outstanding work with the VA in Gilory. Gussie took it upon herself to do some business development and reached out with the local representatives, which led to AmeriCare Silicon Valley being asked to attend and have a booth at their June event in Gilroy. Congrats to Gussie, and enjoy the spot award.

Margarita

We had a care member take ill with 20 minutes to go to the start of the shift.  Client was alerted as soon as we learned.  Margarita saw the shout out for help from Torri and replied back immediately easing the tension of the morning and allowing the client to smile

Serina

Serina took charge one early morning when upon arrival to her clients home she found suspicious surroundings and discovered the client injured and in need of emergency care.  She called me and we had 911 come along with the clients advocate friend who escorted them to the emergency room.  A true heroic and calm care team hero.

Virginia

Virginia was awarded a spot award for her amazing work with a dementia client living in one of our assisted memory care communities.  She not only engages with our client for companionship but also walks her out of the center, no easy task, and actually got her on an exercise bike which was off the charts!

Dayja

Dayja is our very first winner of the SPOT Award for caregivers who go above and beyond in a moment of need! Dayja was a real super hero during the severe rain and flooding we experienced earlier this year. That, compounded by the flu and Covid, let to several caregiver call outs. Dayja really stepped up and took shift after shift that entire week and became an instant hero! Thank you, Dayja, for all your incredible work and sacrifice!
