“The owners of Americare are wonderful to work with, as is the case manager assigned to us. While my husband is very hard to please, they have worked with me to find caregivers that know what they are doing as well as being able to get along with him. If I have a concern , they are only an email away.”

personal CARE services for
long-lasting independence
Whether running errands, providing assistance with hygiene and bathing routines, or providing other personal care services, our in-home caregivers actively work to aid in the independence and happiness of our clients. Through dignified, discrete care, our clients are able to maintain their independence at home without fear of injury, isolation, or emergency.

hygiene assistance
Our caregivers assist our clients with bathing, toileting, dressing, teeth brushing, and any other personal hygiene tasks they need. Discretion and dignity are our utmost concerns and kindness, respect, and experience are our most valuable tools in ensuring our clients can make the most out of every day.

transportation
Because it can be hard to run errands due to disability or limited mobility, our caregivers help our clients finish their to-do lists by giving them a ride to appointments, events, and even the grocery store.

pet care
Our caregivers provide our clients and their beloved pets with a helping hand. We’ll help with dog walking, feeding schedules, transportation and assistance with vet appointments, and pet hygiene to keep both owner and pet happy and healthy.

light housekeeping
Maintaining health and wellbeing is much easier in a well-kept home. Our caregivers assist with daily household chores, like laundry and dishes, to help bring peace of mind and comfort to our clients.

medication reminders
As they age, many of our clients have to manage complex medication schedules. Our caregivers make sure our clients take the appropriate amount of medication right when they need it.

exercise & recreation
Physcial activity is a great way to improve physical and mental health. Whether it’s a walk up and down the driveway or assistance with physical therapy exercises, our caregivers can help your loved one stay active in their day-to-day lives.

injury prevention
Our caregivers are proactive in preventing harmful falls or other injuries by maintaining a clean environment, removing tripping hazards, helping our clients with mobility, and keeping the environment as safe as possible.

medical appointment support
Our caregivers often accompany our clients to their medical appointments to help them navigate any information or instructions provided by their doctor.

meal preparation
Our caregivers often help our clients prepare meals and shop for groceries to create opportunities to connect and socialize over a good meal. Our caregivers can also monitor dietary restrictions to help clients maintain a healthy lifestyle in their day-to-day routine.

reading aid
Reading a good book, opening and reading mail, organizing paperwork, and even mailing bills and letters can be difficult for those managing vision impairment. Our caregivers help our clients with all their reading needs from recreational to administrative.
