Linda Cooper
Owner

Linda has spent 30 years as an engineer in the medical device industry before opening AmeriCare Bee Cave.  Working closely with orthopedic surgeons to design hip, knee & shoulder joint replacements, she gained a deep understanding of arthritis and its effects on the joints.  Linda is also a certified yoga instructor (RYT 200).  Seeing first hand what yoga can do for posture, movement & balance, Linda attended teacher training in 2016-2017, specializing in hatha yoga and fundamentals of yoga therapy.  She prefers teaching a gentler style of yoga, especially chair yoga.

Linda has volunteered with Family Eldercare and Meals on Wheels in the Austin area.  It was these experiences that first sparked her interest in starting a business that catered to the elderly and home bound.  While visiting clients, she saw the need for services beyond a simple visit or hot meal.  Linda looks forward to creating a personalized care plan for every client, providing the highest level of professional service.

Linda lives in Bee Cave, TX where she raised her three children.  Her youngest is a sophomore at Lake Travis High School, and her two older children attend Texas State University in San Marcos.  In her spare time, Linda enjoys reading, sewing, and spending time with her family.  She can frequently be found on her yoga mat.
