ameriCARE Orange County, a nationally franchised in-home care agency, is seeking both CNAs and companion/personal caregivers for in-home client caregiving. Job Requirements

  • No minimum years of experience required
  • Certified Home Care Aide in the state of California
    or Certified Nurse Aide in the state of California
  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certificate
  • Current TB test results
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Ability to meet bonding criteria. This includes never having been shown by credible evidence to have abused, neglected, sexually assaulted, exploited, or deprived any person or to have subjected any person to serious injury as a result of intentional or grossly negligent misconduct as evidenced by the oral or written statement to this effect obtained at the time of application.
  • Passionate for caregiving adults of all ages and/or those with short & long-term disabilities
  • Communication skills – ability to interact with clients, families, coworkers, and supervisors
  • Ability to accurately follow and process written and verbal instructions

Preferred, but not required

  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Have a reliable vehicle and proof of insurance
